Sabyasachi Mohanty beat Ayush Panda to win the singles title of the City Children Tennis Tournament, which concluded at Naharkanta in Bhubaneswar yesterday. Ayush, however, compensated his singles defeat by winning the doubles title with Abhilipsa Rath as his partner. Altogether 35 boys and girls participated in the two-day tournament, which was organised by new private academy, Ace Base Tennis Resort. RESULTS: Singles final: Sabyasachi Mohanty bt Ayush Panda 6-3. Semifinals: Sabyasachi Mohanty bt Aditya Sahoo 5-4 (7-2): Ayush Panda bt Alisha Samal 5-1. Doubles final: Ayush Panda-Abhilipsa Rath bt Satbik Mohanty-Nishant Thacker 5-2. Semifinals: A Panda-A Rath bt Sabyasachi Mohanty-Aditya Sahoo 4-2: S Mohanty-N Thacker bt Alisha Samal-Koyal Mishra 4-3 (7-2).
