Bhilai Steel Plant retained the title in the Inter Steel Plants Basketball Championship, defeating host Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) 67-59 in the final at the Ispat Basketball Complex here on Saturday. Earlier in the semifinals, Bhilai beat IISCO Steel Plant 75-37, while Rourkela won over Tata Steel 75-61. RSP’s Chief of Health and Medical Services, Dr O P Agarwal gave away the trophy at the closing function. Former basketball international S C Padhi, who took VRS from RSP, was felicitated on the occasion.
