A whirlwind century by Ajay Naik enabled Jagamara edge out Baramunda by 29 runs in the high-scoring first semifinal of the 12th Subrat Mangaraj Brahmananda Jena Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Syed Mumtaz Ali High School in Bhubaneswar today.
Naik scored 113 off 47 balls to share the man of the match award with Baramunda’s Priyatosh Paramanik, who also slammed century (120 off 54 balls) in the keenly-contested match.
Host Nuapalli Juba Parishad meet Tamando in the second semifinal tomorrow.
