  Manual therapy provides relief for Dilip Tirkey

Orissa hockey legend Dilip Tirkey finally took the help of manual therapy today to to heal his recurring ankle injury. Eminent physiotherapist Professor Uma Sankar Mohanty provided relief to around 25 injured sportspersons in a manual therapy and taping camp at Utkal Karate School in Bhubaneswar. Other beneficiaries of the day-long camp included SAF Games gold winning weightlifter Chandrasekhar Sahoo, national-level athlete Gitanjali Jena and international volleyball referee Sudarshan Patnaik. Mangalore-based Oriya Professor Mohanty expressed confidence he would fully cure the highest-capped hockey international’s nagging ankle injury within a few weeks. Besides sportspersons, professionals from the field of information technology, civil administration, media joined the camp to find solution to their injury worries.
