Orissa blanked Delhi 8-0 to storm into the quarterfinals of the 8th Junior Girls National Football Championship at Satyabrata Stadium, Cuttack today. Deogi Murmu scored thrice, Rashmita Patra netted a brace and Nilam Burh, Puspita Majhi and Manisha Panna contributed one goal each to help Orissa register their second successive victory. Defending champions Manipur, Tamil Nadu and Chhattishgarh also qualified for the quarterfinal league in contrasting ways. In two other cluster matches of the day, Tripura upset West Bengal 4-0, while Tamil Nadu played a goalless draw against Uttar Pradesh.
