A nine-member Orissa squad, including two officials left Bhubaneswar today to make its debut in the 20th Senior National Fencing Championship to held at Salem in Tamil Nadu from January 13 to 16. The squad selected by the newly formed Orissa State Fencing Association received training earlier at Utkal Karate School in Bhubaneswar. In the annual general meeting of the National Fencing Federation to be held during the championship, Orissa would bid to host Junior National Championship later this year.
