Orissa bagged three medals in the 13th Sub-junior and 14th Challenger Championship, which was held  at Roorkee, Uttarakhand from May 30 to June 6. According to a press release from Orissa Association for Rowing and Sculling today, Monika Devi won a silver in girls’ single scull event, while Alok Patro claimed a bronze in boys’ singles scull event of the sub-junior championship. In the Challenger championship, Orissa quartet, comprising Rakesh Singh, Ashit Kujur, Alok Dhuyan and Deepak Kumar Behera secured a bronze in coxless four category.
