Defending champions Cuttack-A crushed Balasore by 207 runs in the lop-sided final to retain the trophy in the Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University ground in Cuttack today. Chasing a stiff target of 293 in 90 overs, Balasore were skittled out for 85.

Abhilash Mallick and Asmit Rout destroyed the Balasore innings, scalping five and four wickets respectively. Ravenshaw University Registrar Smarapriya Mishra gave away the trophy in the closing function.

Smarapriya Mishra, Registrar Ravenshaw University. gave away the trophy.
