Vietnam came from behind to thrash India 3-1 in an under-23 international friendly football match at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. The match was part of India`s preparation for the Asian Games to be held on November.
It was India who took the lead through Balwant Singh in the ninth minute, but squandered the advantage by conceding three goals. Nguyen Ngoe Bien scored a brace (37th, 56th) for the winners, while teammate Nguyen Anh Duc netted the third goal in the 78th minute.
