Altogether 135 shuttlers from all over the state took part in the two-day tournament, which was hosted by Orissa State Secretariat Badminton Association. Steel and Mines Secretary Manoj Ahuja inaugurated the tournament, while Indian Oil Corporation’s Orissa General Manager V Ramgopal and TCS Bhubaneswar Centre Head Debajyoti Mohapatra gave away the trophies and cash prizes at the closing ceremony. The tournament offered a total prize fund of Rs 39,000.

Results (All finals): Men’s singles: Ranjit Kumar Bantha bt Swadhin Mishra 21-15, 23-21. Men’s doubles: Snehasis Patra-Susant Bal bt Ranjit Bantha-Chandi Prasad Das 21-19, 14-21, 21-19. Veteran singles: Gouri Sankar Bisi bt Srikant Rath 21-19, 21-17. Veteran doubles: Chandi Prasad Das-AK Sahoo bt Gunanidhi Sethi-PK Khadanga 21-9, 18-21, 21-14.
