Government College of Physical Education (GCPE) emerged champions in
the 9th Khurda District Basketball League, defeating Government Sports Hostel 82-69 in the final at the Unit-I Basketball Complex in Bhubaneswar today.

Bhubaneswar North MLA Bhagirathi Badajena and GCPE Principal Shantanu Kumar Mishra handed over the trophy and prizes at the closing ceremony. Earlier in the semifinals, GCPE beat IMFA Sports Club 56-46, while Sports Hostel prevailed over Nayapalli Sports Club 32-21.

Results (Final): GCPE (NK Behera 33, Sashikant Nayak 28) beat Sports Hostel (Safalya Patra 21, Binit Minz 19, Deepak Mania 17) 82-69.
