Asif Haque (Cuttack) and Samartha Prusty (Bhubaneswar) continued reigned supreme, bagging four and two titles respectively in the 18th YGTTA ll-Orissa Open Table Tennis Tournament, which concluded here at Club House, Barabati Stadium today. Altogether 179 paddlers from all over the state participate in the three-day tournament which was hosted by Young Generation Table Tennis Association. Cuttack Collector Kishore Kumar Mohanty gave away the trophies at the closing function.

Cadet girls’ singles: Ankita Senapati (Bbs) champion and Surasmita Aparajita (Bbs) runner-up after round robin league.
Cadet boys’ singles: Krishan Prusty (Bbs) bt Satyasundar Bhuyan (Bbs) 3-2 (11/9, 6/11, 3/11, 11/6, 13/11).
Sub-junior girls’ singles: Anjali Agarwal (Bbs) bt Anuska Nayak (Khd) 4-0 (11/5, 11/3, 11/9, 11/7).
Sub-junior boys’ singles: Sarthak Misra (Bbs) bt Ajitabh Kalta (Bbs) 4-3 (6/11, 11/6, 3/11, 11/6, 7/11, 12/10, 11/5).
Junior girls’ singles: Samartha Prusty (Bbs) bt Ankita Kha (Khud) 4-0 (11/5, 11/3, 11/8, 11/4).
Junior boys’ singles: Asif Haque (Ctc) bt Pranat Sachin (Jsg) 4-1.
Youth boys’ singles: Asif Haque (Ctc) bt Tousif Haque (Ctc) 4-1 (11/6, 20/18, 8/11, 11/6, 11/9).
Women’s singles: Samartha Prusty (Bbs) bt Ankita Kha (Khd) 4-0 (11/6, 11/2, 11/8, 11/7).
Men’s singles: Asif Haque (Ctc) bt Tousif Haque (Ctc) 4-3 (6/11, 11/4, 11/5, 9/11, 8/11, 12/10, 12/10).
