Bhubaneswar duo of Biranchi Narayan Mohanty and Sanjay Sahu emerged champions in the Gonasika-OMC All-Orissa Open Veteran Doubles Tennis Tournament, which concluded at Circuit House courts in Keonjhar today. In the hard-fought final, top seed Mohanty and Sahu beat local pair of Akhil Bihari Das and Suresh Sahoo 8-5.
Earlier in the semifinals, Akhil Bihari Das and Suresh Sahoo prevailed over Bhubaneswar duo of G R Dash and Jhadeswar Das 8-5, while B N Mohanty and Sanjay Sahu got the better of S S Rath and V Raman, also from Bhubaneswar 8-5.
