Government Sports Hostel mauled Orissa Police 9-0 in the final to win the 1st Mahanagar Rajat Memorial Six-a-side Hockey Tournament at Satyabrata Stadium in Cuttack today. Sanjib Ekka starred in the triumph, scoring four goals. Jiban Vengra and Santosh Barla struck a brace each, while the last goal was scored by Samarjeet.

Indian Oil general manager V Ramgopal handed over the trophy at the closing function. Sports Hostel received a cash prize of Rs 5,001, while the runners-up were given Rs 2,501.
