Orissa won the men`s title, beating Jharkhand 31-19 in the final of the 15th East Zone Handball Championship, which concluded at Keonjhar today. In the women’s category, Jharkhand emerged champions, getting the better of defending champions Manipur 9-7.

Altogether seven states participated in the three-day championship, which was hosted by Keonjhar Handball Association. Keonjhar MLA Subarna Naik presented the trophies at the closing function.
