  Maharashtra Police win Callaghan Cup Division-II title

Maharashtra State Police (MSP) thrashed Chennai Cubs 47-3 to emerge champions in the All-India Callaghan Cup Division-II Rugby Tournament, which concluded at Kalinga Stadium here today.Avinash Sinde starred in the MPS triumph with two tries, while his teammates Ganesh Sawant, Pankaj Khapge, Narendra Khode and Ranjit Jabdy slammed one try each.
Delhi Bulls won the plate final, defeating Young Rugby Club of Kolkata 54-0. Vikash Dabas and David of the Delhi team scored two tries each. He was well supported by teammates John, Amit Dagar, Nikhil Dabas, Vinod Kumar with one try each. Ankur Khatri of the champion team made seven conversions without any mistake.
MSP and Chennai Cubs qualified for the Division-I of the Callaghan Cup Tournament, which is scheduled to be held at Kolkata in September this year.
