Orissa`s Amusana Devi won a silver medal in the women`s singles scull event of the 17th Junior Asian Rowing Championship, which concluded at Hwacheon in South Korea today. This was the first international medal for Amusana, who is a trainee of SAI Watersports Centre, Jagatpur, Cuttack.

Earlier this year, she helped Orissa win the silver medal in the double scull event of the 34th National Games at Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Orissa Association of Rowing and Sculling secretary Binod Dash congratulated Amusana for success at the Junior Asian Championship.
