Kishore Club emerged champions of the 26th All-Odisha Jadupur Cup Football Tournament when they beat Friends & Friends 5-4 in the all-Bhubaneswar final, via tie-breaker at Jadupur ground here on Tuesday. Kishore Club goalkeeper Subash Behera effected spectacular saves to be adjudged the man of the match.

The champion team took home a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and the runners-up became richer by Rs 10,000. Santosh Nayak and Ranjan Kumar Bhoi (both Friends & Friends) took the prizes as man of the tournament and best goalkeeper respectively.

Earlier in the semifinals, Friends & Friends (Bhubaneswar) edged out Chand Club (Cuttack) 2-0 in penalty shoot-out, while Kishor Club eliminated East Coast Railway (Khurda Road) 2-0. Congress leader Lalatendu Bidyadhara Mohapatra handed over the trophy in the presence of host Jadupur Athletic Association president Dilawar Khan and secretary Seikh Daud Ali
