  Town Club win title in FAO Second Division League

Town Club won the title and a cash prize of Rs 25,000 in the FAO Second Division Football League, trouncing Royal Club 5-0 in the last super league match at Bidanasi ground here today. Bijay Behera (31st, 33rd) and Deepak Das (48th, 50th) completed the rout with a brace each after Narayan Badajena opened the floodgates in the fifth minute.

This was the second win in three matches for Town Club and the title triumph made them eligible to play in the next year`s First Division League. Despite the defeat Royal Club finished runners-up and claimed the second prize of Rs 15,000. Eleven Gun Club beat LIC Sports Club 1-0 in another match of the day. Susanta Mohanty scored the all-important goal in the 20th minute.
