Dillip Kumar Jena emerged champion in the open category of the 24th State Karate Championship, which concluded at Utkal Karate School in Bhubaneswar today. Bhubaneswar won the team championship with highest number of medals, while Rourkela finished runners-up.

Rajib Singh, Susanta Panda, Santosh Moharana, Debasish Mohanty, Sameer Sanu Dalai, Marutidutta Sahoo and Anupama Swain were the other individual title winners of the final day. Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena gave away the prizes in 36 categories.
