Balangir boys cornered glory by bagging both the singles and doubles titles in the State Under-15 Badminton Championship, was which hosted by Mayurbhanj District Badminton Association, under the aegis of Odisha State Badminton Association at the Indoor Hall in Baripada from October 27 to 29.

Abhimanyu Bagarty won the singles title, defeating his Balangir district-mate Bikrant Jani in the final. Balangir boys also finished one-two in the doubles category with Bikrant Jani and Arbind Sahu getting the better of  Abhimanyu Bagarty and Debashish Singh in the title clash. Balangir District Badminton Association secretary Surulal Matari congratulated the boys for their achievements and attributed the success to the hard work done by the shuttlers through out the summer season.
