Five from Odisha joined the National training camp, which commenced under the aegis of Rugby India at Mumbai today. The camp is being conducted to prepare the National squad for the five-nation Asian Division-2 Rugby Championship, scheduled to be held at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from June 4 to 8.
The five from Odisha include four players (Bikash Jena, Surendra Jena, Ranjan Kumar Sahoo, Muna Murmur) and assistant coach of the National team, Manas Jena. According the assistant coach, after the conclusion of the training camp on May 27, the National team would play a series of friendlies in Sri Lanka from May 28 to June 2 before leaving for Kuala Lumpur.
