A three-week-long basketball summer camp, involving 128 boys and girls from 20 schools concluded at Kalinga Stadium courts here today. Government Sports Hostel coaches Rajendra Prasad Pani, Rajesh Singh and Smarita Samantaray helped the youngster, aged between eight to 16 years, learn the basic skills and techniques such as stance, ball holding, juggling, dribbling, passing, shooting and collecting rebounds.
The camp, which has become a regular annual event, helped creat over 50 new basketball players in the capital city.
