Host Odisha bagged a double, winning both the men`s and women`s titles in the 5th East Zone Softball Championship that concluded at Manmohan School ground in Jharsuguda today. In the finals, Odisha men blanked Manipur 6-0, while their women got the better of Manipur 10-6.
Earlier in the men`s semifinals, Odisha decimated Arunachal Pradesh 13-0 and Manipur pulverised Nagaland 11-0. Odisha and Manipur defeated Bihar and West Bengal respectively in the women`s semifinals.
