Nishank, also a leading coach, clinched his double by grabbing the mixed doubles title in association with Shilpi Swarupa Das, who is a trainee of Bangalore-based Mahesh Bhupati Academy. In the final, they got the better of Asutosh Das and Alisha Samal 7-5, 6-1.
Bhubaneswar made a clean sweep of all the six titles with senior men claiming the remaining three. Rabindra Nath Senapati and Rajpal Singh pocketed the 40-plus doubles title, defeating Saswat Jena and Bandhu Mohanty 9-6.
The 50-plus doubles crown went to Biranchi Narayan Mohanty and Ajay Mohapatra who prevailed over P K Bakshi and S S Rath 8-4. V Raman and Mansingh Ho emerged champions in 60-plus doubles category, getting the better of Arun Barla and Anar Mohanty 8-4.
The title winners in all the categories except men`s singles, received Rs 6,000 each, while the runners-up were given Rs 3,000 each. State Development Commissioner Injeti Srinivasa handed over the trophies and cash prizes the closing function.
