Election of office-bearers of Football Association of Odisha would be conducted on April 27, FAO secretary Sanjay Behera announced after the state body`s council meeting here at Barabati Stadium today. FAO president Debashish Samantray and Odisha Olympic Association Asirbad Behera were present in the meeting.

The list of valid members was released on the occasion. The budget for the year 2014-15 and the financial position of the association was also placed in the house.

All 15 office-bearers were elected unopposed when first elections of the newly constituted FAO was held in June, 2010. FAO was formed earlier on September 2, 2009, in place of Orissa Football Association (OFA), which was embroiled in a number of court cases.
