``We have eight qualified fitness trainers, including three women to motivate members take to fitness training and help them do the workouts in proper procedure,’’ claimed the gym`s founder-director Ranu, who has the credential of winning one bronze medal in World powerlifting championship and one gold, two silver in Asian championship.
``The motto of the gym is to provide best fitness training facility at reasonable cost and in a environment-friendly ambience. We also aim to make a complete sportsperson out of an ordinary person,’’ added Ranu, who also has the reputation of winning medals in National weightlifting championship.
That setting up of Shape & Shine has come as a new lease of life for Ranu and her ex-sportsman husband Manoranja Mishra was evident from the couple’s jovial mood and springing body language. After bidding goodbye to competitive sports, the duo made several efforts to promote sports and earn a living but in vain.
``We always wanted to give back something to sport, especially powersport, which has given us so much in life. After several unsuccessful attempts, we have given shape to our dreams through Shape & Shine. We reckon this as an ideal platform to work for promotion of sports and fitness,’’ signed off Manoranjan.
