Khurda girl Ananya Basak of bagged a treble, winning the three titles in the sub-junior, junior and senior categories of the 22nd YGTTA All-Odisha Open Table Tennis Tournament, which concluded here at Sachin Tendulkar Indoor Hall, Barabati Stadium, today.
In the process, Ananya, daughter former National table tennis champions Arup and Kanchan Basak, emerged as the new table tennis star of Odisha, pushing Samartha Prusty, the long-standing numero-uno to the second spot.
Lalatendu Patra, M Ishwar, Krishan Prusty, Bikash Singh, Asif Haqu and S Mahaprassatha were other title winners of the three-day tournament, which was organised by Young Generation Table Tennis Association (YGTTA), under the aegis of Odisha State Table Tennis Association (OSTTA).
Local MLA Debashish Samantray handed over the prizes at the closing function. OSSTA secretary Rabindra Kumar Parida and YGTTA secretary Ranjan Mishra were present on the occasion.

Cadet girls` singles: Sushree Patnaik (Khurda) champion, after finishing at the top of the league table, while Sikrit Bhagat (Cuttack) settled as runner-up.
Cadet boys` singles: Lalatendu Patra (KIIT Int School) bt Saheel Suman Bhuyan (Cuttack) 3-1 (11-8, 11-9, 5-11, 11-7).
Sub-junior girls` singles: Ananya Basak (Khurda) bt Payal Pani (Khurda) 4-0 (11-7, 11-2, 11-7, 11-7).

Junior boys` singles: Krishan Prusty (Bhubaneswar) bt Janmenjay Moharana (RSP) 4-3 (14-12, 11-8, 7-11, 7-11, 11-6, 12-10, 12-10).
Youth boys` singles: Bikash Singh (RSP) bt Dishant Parida (Cuttack) 4-1 (12-10, 11-8, 11-13, 11-2, 11-5).
Women`s singles: Ananya Basak (Khurda) bt Samartha Prusty (Bhubaneswar) 4-1 (12-10, 11-6, 10-12, 11-3, 11-4).
Men`s singles: Asif Haque (RBI) bt Sagar Ghatge (AG Odisha) 4-0 (11-9, 14-12, 11-5, 11-3).
