Sanjunath M and 12 others won prizes as best athletes in different categories of the Bhubaneswar Athletic Meet, which concluded here at Kalinga Stadium today. Other best athletes included Jiendra Kumar Sahoo, Arjuna Kisku, Avijit Sahoo, J M Raita, Dambaru Nayak, Tapati Sahoo, Anita Bhoe, Latika Besra, Sukanta Kaul, Jyosna Sabar, Brahmi Sadangi and Seema Dhan.

Over 500 athletes vied for honours in the two-day meet which was organised by Bhubaneswar Athletic Association. State Sports Minister Sudam Charan Marandi handed over the prizes at the valedictory function.

Rajgangpur MLA Rama Chandra Hansdah, BAA general secretary Sourya Ranjan Parija and athletic secretary Ramesh Chandra Das were present on the occasion.
