  Ace Commercial lift BGC corporate golf trophy

A four-member team of Ace Commercial, Bhubaneswar, won the team title in the 10th Corporate Golf Tournament, which concluded here at Bhubaneswar Golf Club (BGC) course earlier yesterday. A total of 58 golfers from well known corporate houses participated in the three-day tournament, which was organised by BGC.

Tata Steel, Dhamra Port Company, Indian Oil Corporation, Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited, Paradip Port Trust, Airtel, TinPlate Company, Esprit Toyota, Acrux, ESSPL, Enmark Solutions, Royal Hotels, Z Estate, Versatile Constructions, Tata Hitachi, Nalco, Milk Mantra, SRB Associates, IMFA and Golden Anchor were other teams in the fray.
 

The competition was in the stableford format and prizes were given in team as well as individual categories. Odisha State Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Director General of Police and other senior government officials as well as heads of different corporate houses were present in the presentation party.
RESULTS:
Individual Competition: Champion: Shailendra Upadhyay (ESSPL), Bhubaneswar. Best golfer (Gross score): Dalbir Singh (Royal Hotels), Bhubaneswar. Runner-up (0-18 handicap): Devesh Sinha (ESSPL).
17-24 Handicap: Winner: Dharmendra Mishra (Ace Commercial), Paradip. Runner-up: Akshya Sutar (Ace Commercial). Ladies` winner: Manasi Mohapatra (Versatile Construction), Bhubaneswar. Best outstation golfer: Rajesh Kumar (Tata Steel), Jamshedpur.
0-18 Open category: Winner: Sangramjit Pujari (BGC). Best Gross: Prashant Maurya (TinPlate Company), Jamshedpur. Runner-up: S K Lall (MCL), Sambalpur.
19-24 Open category: Winner: Rajesh Kumar (Tata Steel); Runner-up: Dibyalok Patnaik (Ace Commericial).
Team Competition: Champion: Ace Commercial (Dibyalok Patnaik, A C Sutar, Baistab Nayak, Dharmendra Mishra). Runners-up: MCL, Sambalpur (SK Lall, J Kumar, AK Das, Rabi Pradhan).
