A 28-member Odisha squad has so far bagged four medals in the 30th National Junior Athletics Championship, which is going on at Vijayawada from November 26. The medals included one gold and three bronze.
Biswa Ranjan Mohanty won the only gold in under-14 boys 100 metre sprint, clocking 11.73 seconds on Nov 28. Sekunta Kullu captured a bronze the same day in under-18 girls 100 meter sprint with a timing of 12.60 seconds.

Ealier on November 26, Bijay Xalxo won the first medal by finishing third in under-14 boys 600 metre event, clocking 1:28.05 seconds. The next day, Damayanti Murmu won the bronze in under-20 girls javelin event, throwing the spear to a distance of 38.34 metres.
