Bhubaneswar-based tribal school, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) bagged a double by winning both the boys and girls titles in the All-India Junior National Rugby Championship, held at Nagpur from October 29 to November 2.
KISS won the under-18 girls sevens crown, demolishing Jungle Crows (Kolkata) in the final by 24-0. Earlier, KISS girls defeated Jammu-Kashmir 38-0, Maharashtra 40-0 to storm into the semifinals, where they hammered Bihar 17-5.
In the under-19 boys 15s final, KISS dumped Jungle Crows 13-7. Earlier in the semifinals, KISS thrashed Future Hope (Kolkata) 15-3. On their way to the last-four stage, KISS girls beat Young Rugby Club (Kolkata) and Delhi 54-3 and 17-7.
