Urmila Football Academy won the Jayanta Mohapatra Memorial One-day Women Football Tournament, defeating East Coast Railway 1-0 in the final at Unit-VI Boys High School ground here today. Pyari Xaxa scored the all-important goal to be adjudged the player of the tournament.

Altogether three teams participated in the tournament, which was organised by Unit-VI Athletic Association. Urmila Football Academy and East Coast Railway reached the final, beating Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) 4-0 and 1-0 respectively. State Energy Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra handed over the trophy.
