Maharashtra beat Odisha by five wickets in their last Elite super league match to become runners-up in the Senior Women T20 League at Holkar Stadium in Indore today. The highlight of the match was a hat-trick by Maharashtra all-rounder Devika Vaidya.

Recently named the best junior cricketer, 18-year-old Vaidya struck on the second, third and fourth ball as Odisha were restricted to 80/8. Maharashtra overhauled the target in 16 overs. Odisha, thus, ended their campaign as the bottom-placed team, losing all three of their super league matches. Meanwhile, Railways retained the crown when they beat Goa by three runs in a nail-biting clash of the day.
