Odisa women put up better performance than than their male counterpart in the 66th Senior National Basketball Championship was held at Mysuru from January 9. Women won three matches in a row before bowing out of the championship, losing to West Bengal in Leve-2 to Level-1 qualifying matches. Odisha men posted two wins and suffered as many defeats in Leve-2 to reach the loser knock-out quarterfinals, where they lost to Maharashtra.
