IDCO and OSDPC Chairman Sanjeev Chopra, Sports & Youth Services Department Secretary Saswat Mishra, IDCO Managing Director and OSDPC CEO Sanjay Kumar Singh, chief mentor and Rajya Sabha Member Dilip Tirkey, head coach Mark Hager and captain Feurste unveiled the pink and white jersy before all the players and the mascot were introduced in the programme. Team manager and former Indian goalkeeper A B Subbaiah, trainer and exercise physiologist David John (Australia) and video analyst Ganesh Kar were present on the occasion.

Held at star hotel, Mayfair Lagoon, the event, however, ended on an unpleasant note as the top brass of OSDPC and the State Government left the venue without interacting with mediapersons present there. Personnel of the newly hired PR Agency also refused to answer any query. The agency later distributed handouts that contained statements, it claimed to have been made in the programme by Sanjeev Chopra, Saswat Mishra and Sanjay Singh. Ironically, the handout forgot to mention `Bagha’ the name of the mascot. Interestingly, Bagha, the white tiger, had more resemblance with a cat.

It seemed the purpose of the programme was to showcase the three bureaucrats rather than the jersey and mascot. Ladies were engaged to felicitate bureaucrats for reasons best known to them. While posing for a photo session with the players they did not bother to call head coach Mark Hager to join them on the dais. They did call him, but only after the discrimination was pointed out by mediapersons.
