Rourkela Gymkhana, a premier cricket club of Odisha, added two more notable items to its list of achievements by starting a special cricket coaching camp and launching its official website (www.rourkelagymkhana.org) here at Ispat Vidyalaya ground, Sector-18 today. Around 130 boys and girls joined the camp, the main aim of which is to teach the basics of the game.

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) Executive Director (P&A) P K Pradhan graced the related function as chief guest. NSPCL General Manager A K Tiwary, RSP DGM Rabi Narayan Panda, Rourkela Development Authority chairman Sharada Prasad Nayak, Rourkela Gymkhana president Ashok Singh, secretary R Srikanth and joint-secretary C D Sunil were present on the occasion.

The chief guest felicitated seven players of the club for representing Odisha or East Zone during the year 2015-16. The players include Anshuman Gope, Gobind Tandiya, Pritam Jena, Swastik Samal, Reema Laxmi Ekka, Sangita Khadia and Janaki Reddy.
