Bhubaneswar Rugby Football Club (BRFC) emerged champions in the Regional Women Rugby 10s Tournament, which was held at CCFC Ground in Kolkata today. In the final match, BRFC rode on a double try by Subhalaxmi Barik to beat host CCFC 10-5.

The Bhubaneswar side reached the final by winning two matches by big margins. They first humbled Maidan Hazards (Kolkata) 26-0 thanks to two tries by Subhalaxmi Barik and one try each by Jyosthnarani Nayak and Sasmita Maharana.

In their second match, BRFC women blanked Young Rugby Club (YRC) 10-0.
