Maintaining his impressive form, leading Odisha tennis player Ansu Kumar Bhuyan bagged the second AITA men’s singles title of his career,  defeating Ritwik Anand of Tamil Nadu 7-5, 6-3 in the final of the Pro-Serve 50k Ranking Tournament at Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu today.

The first set was a closely-fought affair with score level at five-games all. But Bhuyan worked hard on return of serves which paid off in crucial points and he wrapped up the set with a big serve. In the second set, the Odisha player asserted full control over his opponent and won it with ease.

Student of KIIT University, Bhuyan had pocketed his maiden AITA men’s title at the same venue earlier this month. He has been working under leading coach Farhan Ali.
