Dev Ray College, Nayapalli emerged champions in the Utkal University Women Inter-College Basketball Tournament, defeating BJB College by 18-99 points in the all-Bhubaneswar final here at Biju Patnaik Sports Complex, Vani Vihar today.

Earlier in the semifinals, Dev Ray College beat IRI, while BJB College got the better of Birla Global Institute. Altogether eight colleges participated in the day-long tournament, which was organized by Utkal University Sports Council (UUSC).

Utkal University Development Officer Prof Kabir Sethi and UUSC director Prof Jayanta Kumar Parida gave away the prizes at the closing ceremony.
