Former India wicket-keeper Nayan Mongia handed over the prizes in presence of News-24 Sr Political Correspondent Kundan Singh and KIIT & KISS Dr founder Achyuta Samanta. Shubham Dahia of Delhi University claimed the man of the tournament prize of Rs 8,000.
Anubhab Ahuja (Al-Falah), K Mohit Kumar (JNTU), Debasis Singh Thakur (KIIT) and Akash Antil (Al-Falah) became richer by Rs 6,000 each as the best batsman, best bowler, best wicket-keeper and best fielder of the tournament respectively.
The lucrative tournament was inaugurated earlier on January 15. Former India allrounder Ajay Jadeja, noted cine star and MP Anubhav Mohanty, local MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, KIIT & KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta, and KIIT University Registrar Dr Sasmita Samanta graced the opening ceremony as guests.
