Odisha Cricket Association today made one change in the state senior team for their Ranji Trophy Group-C match against Andhra, scheduled to be played at Vijianagaram in Andhra Pradesh from October 24 to 27, 2017.

Off-spinner Subham Nayak replaced top-order batsman Ranjit Singh in the 15-member team. Subham bagged five-wickets for 114 runs and hit a useful 23 in Odisha’s drawn C K Nayudu Trophy U-23 match against Madhya Pradesh earlier this week at Indore.

On the other hand Ranjit did not get a chance to bat in Odisha’s truncated first-round Ranji match against Tripura earlier this month at Vikash Ground, Bhubaneswar. If included in the playing XI, Subham will make his first-class debut. Subham has the experience of playing four List-A matches in the season 2015-16.
