The day-long championship was inaugurated by Odisha Tourism & Culture Minsiter Ashok Chandra Panda and Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena. A total of 110 competitors from six states joined the championship and competition was held in eight weight categories (55kg to 90kg+). Odisha Body Building Association (OBBA) president Chitta Ranjan Swain and genera secretary Prasanna Mahasuar were present on the occasion.
