Odisha girl Sahini Mohanty bagged a double by winning both the singles and doubles titles in the AITA Championship Series U-12 Tennis Tournament, organised by Manipur Tennis Association at Officers Club Tennis Complex in Imphal today.

Bhubaneswar lass Sohini defeated Yumnam Thoibi of Manipuri in the singles final 6-2, 6-2. In the doubles summit clash, Sohini, partnering with L Nandini Chanu, beat Yumnam Thoibi and Sanareima M N C 6-2, 6-2.

With this double, the total number of AITA titles for Sohini has gone up to five, which include three singles and two doubles. Sohini, who won her maiden AITA title at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar in December 2017, is a student of Loyala School and trains at Farhan Ali Tennis Academy.
