Odisha campaign in the All-India Inter-State Women Team Championship ended at the league stage, held at Bhilai in Chhattisgarh from December 24 to 26. Fourth seed Odisha finished second in Group D, defeating Mizoram 3-0 and losing to Telangana 0-3.

A total of 11 teams participated in this championship, which was organised by Durg Tennis Association, under the auspices of All India Tennis Association and Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association. Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh qualified for the semifinals after emerging toppers in respective group league.

Dec 25: Odisha beat Mizoram 3-0. Rutuparna Choudhury (OD) bt B Lalbiakhlui 6-0, 6-0. Shilpi Swarupa Das (OD) bt Sandhya Lalchhanchhuai 6-2, 6-2. Anaam Almas-Rutuparna Choudhury (OD) bt B Lalbiakhlui-Sandhya Lalchhanchhuai 6-2, 6-0.

Dec 26: Telangana bt Odisha 3-0. B Moulika Ram bt Rutuparna Choudhary (OD) 6-3, 6-7(7), 6-3. Sunskrithi Damera bt Anaam Almas (OD) 6-0, 6-2. Sindhu Janagam-B Moulika Ram bt Rutuparna Choudhary-Shilip Swarupa Das (OD) 6-0, 6-0.
