Indian Metals & Public Cheritable Trust (IMPaCT) has sought applications/nominations for Ekalabya Award for the year 2019. The annual award for best young sportsperson of Odisha carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. Besides the main award, there are two runner-up awards, carrying citations and cash prize of Rs 50,000 each.

According to Ekalabya Award Committee convenor Ashok Kumar Behera, Aspiring sportspersons can send their applications through any Odisha-based sports organization/ board/ university, college and school. Candidates must not be aged above 25 years as on 31st March, 2019. Applications should accompany certificates of age and achievements in state, national international sports events of last two years (April 2017 to March 2019).

Applications/nominations should Ekalabya Puraskar, IMFA Trust, Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar-751010 by 31st May, 2019. Applications/nominations also can be e-maild to ekalabya@imfa.in. However, hard copies of certificates need to be sent by post.
