Indian Women Hockey Team beat hosts New Zealand 3-0 to end their New Zealand Tour on a high in Auckland today. Led by Rani Rampal, the 20-member Indian team played five matches during the tour, won three and lost two.
The Indian team, featuring three players from Odisha _ Deep Grace Ekka, Namita Toppo and Lilima Minz _ started the tour with a 4-0 win over New Zealand Development Team. They lost the next two to New Zealand National Women Team 1-2 and 0-1 respectively. In their fourth match, India beat Great Britain 1-0.
