  Inter-Dist T20 League: Pratik hits 162*, Abhisek bags 5/3

Balasore beat Mayurbhanj by 72 runs in their last-round match to join Cuttack-A, Bhubaneswar-A, Cuttack-B, Bhubaneswar-B and East Coast Railway Sports Association (ECoRSA) in the Super League of the OCA Senior Men Inter-District T20 League today. The Super League competition, involving six teams will commence on December 20 and top finishers in the super league will qualify for the final.

The last round of 18 preliminary league matches produced three centuries, 17 fifties and 20 hauls of three or more wickets. Bhubaneswar-B batsman Pratik Das and Cuttack-B bowler Abhisek Giri shared the best performance of the day, hitting an unbeaten 162 and bagging five wickets for three runs.

Pratik Das, a former Odisha First-Class cricketer, hit 18 boundaries and 9 sixes in his 87-ball unbeaten knock of 162. The dazzling knock made Pratik Das the highest scorer in an innings in the ongoing tournament. Abhisek Giri captured the five wickets against Deogarh. Among notable performers of the day, Sarbeswar Mohanty (100) and Prayash Singh (134*) scored a century each for Balasore and Nuapada respectively.
