Sukesh Heera hit an unbeaten 130 to power Nabarangpur to a 42-run win over Angul in their last preliminary league match of the OCA Inter-District Senior Men T20 League at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today. But the win proved insignificant as Nabarangpur bowed out of the tournament from the preliminary league stage.

Meanwhile, Cuttack-B confirmed their place in the super league, posting wins over Dhenkanal and Kendrapara today. The six preliminary league matches of the day produced five fifties and four hauls of three wickets each. The preliminary league will be followed by super league from tomorrow.
