  Deb, Das appointed coaches for Odisha U-19 team

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has appointed former state first-class players Rashmi Ranjan Das and Sovan Deb as batting and bowling coach of State Under-19 Men Cricket Team respectively for the ensuing season. This was informed by OCA CEO Subrat Kumar Behera today.

A right-hand batsman of Cuttack, Rashmi Ranjan Das played 20 First-Class, 26 List-A and 15 Twenty20 matches in a career spanning from seasons 1999-2000 to 2010-11.

Das scored over 500 runs, including one century eacy in First-Class and List-A format. He compiled a total of 277 runs, including one fifty in Twenty20 tournaments.
 

In his two-season-long career, Jharsuguda allronder Deb played two First-Class and three List-A games for Odisha in 2003-04 and 2004-05.

A right-hand batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Deb also played 11 miscellaneous matches for the state between 2003 and 2011.
